A birding trip in the Finnish spring nature offers an unforgettable experience for both beginners and experienced birders. During the trip, you will learn a lot about birds and can spot dozens of birds. The trip will be on foot. Birding trips can be arranged in Parikkala Siikalahti, Juva Iitlahti and especially night songbird trips on Saimaanvalo's own property in Moinsalmi in Savonlinna.
The start takes place at 6 am or 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Trips can also be arranged during the week by agreement. Retkiä voidaan järjestää myös viikolla sopimuksen mukaan.
You will also learn about the soundscape of birds, which will allow you to observe birds with your ears. You will learn what a Eurasian Bittern, a Golden Oriole or a wren sounds like, for example.
Oppaana retkellä toimii lintuharrastaja ja FT Eira Kotoneva. The tour guide will be bird enthusiast and PhD Eira Kotoneva. You will have access to high-quality Meopta and Kowa birding telescopes and binoculars on the trip.
