Summer yoga in Savonlinna: Find your inner peace in the embrace of Olavinlinna

Welcome to summer yoga in the wonderful scenery of Savonlinna! The historically beautiful setting of Olavinlinna offers the perfect environment to relax, take a deep breath and find balance in the midst of busy everyday life or summer vacation. We organize yoga once a week, every Wednesday from 17:00 to 18:15.

Classes are held in Finnish or in English Join even if you are non-Finnish!

The environment offers wonderful landscapes and there is also something for the auditory senses: barn swallows, seagulls and terns sing, children play in Pikkyu Kakkonen park, steamboat sirens sound and Olavinlinna invites you to the opera!

Starting yoga, or any exercise, can be difficult

Saimaanvalo's summer yoga is specially designed to lower the threshold for starting yoga. Whether you are a first-time yogi or an experienced yogi, in our classes everyone will find a way to practice that suits them. Each class is tuned to suit the class participants, and in addition to asana, the classes include meditation and breathing exercises. In asanas, we do e.g. standing sets, forward and backward bends and rotations and of course abs movements! Maybe we'll allso try some hand balances!
