Everyone's rights are an important part of Finnish nature culture. We can pick berries and mushrooms, hike in nature almost anywhere without a separate permit. Every man's rights also bring responsibilities. When moving in nature, and why not anywhere, we should respect nature. Making fire is only allowed in reasonable places and for that we do not look at trees or bushes.
Saimaanvalo Oy bears its responsibility for nature and its cleanliness. On all our trips, we collect trash, at least our own and sometimes other people's as well.
Saimaa and its area are a precious part of Finland's islet and cultural heritage; Olavinlinna has also existed for more than 500 years. We are happy to take our customers there or to e.g. Kerimäki church, which is the world's largest wooden church.
We are happy to work together with other local companies and prefer local production and services. We also tell our customers about these.
Saimaanvalo Oy is also responsible for energy, our property is partially heated with solar electricity, and in the future we will invest even more in it.
